A quiet, meditative class, concluding with an Earth Gong meditation at Mandala Yoga. Yin Yoga targets deep tissue release, present moment awareness, and the experience of surrender. In one class you will do 8-10 supported asanas, and hold each for 3-5 minutes. Yin is accessible as an entry level practice, and is also an excellent adjunct to an active yoga practice. The additional benefit of a gong bath during savasana deepens this practice.
