Living Yoga presents "Addressing Trauma through the Biology of Breathing" with Angelina Vasile.

The breath is the central and most essential tool for any yoga or mindfulness practice. It has the capacity to affect our minds, biochemistry and nervous system and therefore, our physical and emotional wellbeing.

  • Learn the main muscles and their function in conscious breathing.

  • Become more familiar with how breathing affects chemical stagnancy and supports "detox" in the body and brain.

  • Use down-regulating breath practices for working with trauma, PTSD and heightened/depressed states.

This workshop is open to the public. Pre-registration is required. Sliding scale payment options range up to $45. Active Living Yoga volunteers may access this workshop for free.
